A few potential causes:
- Maximum speed of the client device connected.
- Environment.
- Interference.
- Number of devices connected.
- Distance between router and the client devices.
The advertised speed of Wyze Mesh Router is the maximum theoretical speed that the router can achieve wirelessly without factoring in any variables. (For example, the Wyze app can only test up to 600 Mbps.)
The actual real-world speed is often less than the maximum theoretical speed. Also, the speed of the connection is only as good as the slowest device connected to the network. If possible, upgrade any older devices that may be hindering the performance of the entire network.
