This article contains instructions on how to factory reset your Wyze Duo Cam Doorbell. Before proceeding, back up important data if needed. This operation will clear local data and restore all settings to default.
To factory reset Wyze Duo Cam Doorbell:
- Use the included Doorbell Detaching Pin to remove the doorbell from the back panel, if the doorbell is mounted.
- Remove any microSD card inserted into the doorbell.*
- Remove the battery on the back of the doorbell.
- Press to eject the microSD card from the slot.
- Reinstall the battery into the doorbell and wait for it to turn on.
- With the camera powered on, single-press the RESET button on the back of the doorbell. It will say "Ready to connect."
- In the Wyze app, set up the doorbell like new by following along in the app. Related article: Wyze Duo Cam Doorbell Setup Guide.
Notes:
- If you’re troubleshooting issues with your Wyze Duo Cam Doorbell, be sure to submit a log from the Wyze app before performing a factory reset.
- * If you have a microSD card installed, you must remove the microSD card before resetting your Wyze Duo Cam Doorbell.
What happens when you factory reset your Wyze Duo Cam Doorbell:
The device settings and previous Wi-Fi/setup state are cleared.
The current firmware version remains intact.
The doorbell must be set up as a new device before it can be used again.
