You don’t hear a voice prompt when setting up your Wyze Duo Cam Doorbell.
Troubleshooting

Ensure the doorbell is fully powered.

If battery-powered:
-
Verify the battery pack is fully charged.
- If the battery pack is charging, there should be one green status light.
- If the battery pack is fully charged, both status lights should be solid green.
- If the battery pack is not charging, follow the steps in My Duo Cam Doorbell won’t charge.

Ensure the battery pack was inserted correctly into the doorbell.
- Use the doorbell detaching pin to remove the backplate from the doorbell.
- Locate the arrow on the battery pack and point it toward the top of the battery compartment.
- Insert the battery into the compartment then push it down until it is secure.

Verify the battery pack is fully charged.

If hardwired:

Check that the doorbell is receiving power from the breaker to operate properly.
- The doorbell should be receiving 16-24V 10VA.

Check that the doorbell is receiving power from the breaker to operate properly.

If battery-powered:
- Make sure that you are fully pressing and holding the RESET button on the back of the doorbell until you hear “ready to connect”. This should take no longer than 10 seconds.
- If there is no voice prompt but the status light is not solid blue, attempt setup using Understanding your Wyze Duo Cam Doorbell Status Lights as a reference.

Power cycle Wyze Duo Cam Doorbell.
- If battery-powered: Remove the battery pack completely for 10 seconds, then place it back into the doorbell, ensuring it is seated firmly.
- If hardwired: Flip the breaker that is powering the doorbell to the off position, wait 10 full seconds, then flip the breaker back to the on position.
