Problem
You’re unable to get a heart rate reading using your device’s camera/finger.
Troubleshooting

Confirm that your Wyze app is up to date.
- In your Wyze app, navigate to the Account tab > tap About.
- Your current app version will be listed beneath the Wyze logo.
- Compare your app version to the latest app version listed on our Release Notes & Firmware page.
- If you find that your Wyze app is out of date, head over to your mobile device’s app store, and update the Wyze app.
- Force close the Wyze app.
- In your phone/tablet settings, ensure the Wyze app has permission to access your device's camera.

Ensure you are measuring properly.
- Place your finger on the main camera lens (not the flash).

Make sure nothing is obstructing your finger.
- Excessively dry or damp fingers may result in incorrect or no measurements.
- Remove any case covering the camera, if needed.
- Stay still, breathe normally, and keep your finger on the camera until the measurement is complete.
