Problem
The scale isn’t showing the correct weight.
Note: There is a range of acceptable measurement differences. The scale tolerance of Wyze Scale Ultra is:
- 11-132lb: ± 0.66lb
- 132-265lb: ±0.88lb
- 265-400lb: ±1.1lb
Troubleshooting
- Confirm that your Wyze app is up to date.
- In your Wyze app, navigate to the Account tab > tap About.
- Your current app version will be listed beneath the Wyze logo.
- Compare your app version to the latest app version listed on our Release Notes & Firmware page.
- If you find that your Wyze app is out of date, head over to your mobile device’s app store, and update the Wyze app.
- If possible, check that your Wyze Scale Ultra’s firmware is up to date.
- You can check this by going to the Account tab > Firmware Update.
- If there is an update available for the scale, please move forward with updating it.
- Ensure you are measuring correctly.
- Place the scale on a hard, flat surface.
- Step on the scale barefoot, without your knees touching.
- Make sure your feet are not too dry or damp as this may result in incorrect or no measurements.
- Remain on the scale until the measurement is complete.
- Step on the scale to activate it, then step off and let it return to 0.0 lb.
- Verify that the scale is syncing with the Wyze app.
- Open the Wyze app and select Wyze Scale Ultra.
- Step on the scale to activate it.
- Ensure Connected displays in the app and the BluetoothⓇ symbol appears in the upper-left corner of the scale’s screen.
- Turn BluetoothⓇ off, then turn it back on in your mobile device's settings.
- Wipe the surface of the scale with a damp cloth to ensure proper contact.
- Power cycle Wyze Scale Ultra.
- Remove the batteries for 10 seconds, then reinstall them.
- Factory reset Wyze Scale Ultra.
- On the back of the scale, in the battery compartment, find the UNIT button.
- Press and hold the button for 3 seconds until the scale display shows “Clear”.
- Set up the scale as new.
