Problem
Wyze Scale Ultra shows your weight on the screen, but the BluetoothⓇ symbol and other measurements are not displayed in the Wyze app.
Troubleshooting
- Confirm that your Wyze app is up to date.
- In your Wyze app, navigate to the Account tab > tap About.
- Your current app version will be listed beneath the Wyze logo.
- Compare your app version to the latest app version listed on our Release Notes & Firmware page.
- If you find that your Wyze app is out of date, head over to your mobile device’s app store, and update the Wyze app.
- If possible, check that your Wyze Scale Ultra’s firmware is up to date.
- You can check this by going to the Account tab > Firmware Update.
- If there is an update available for the scale, please move forward with updating it.
- Ensure your Wyze Scale Ultra is not currently connected to another device.
- Wyze Scale Ultra can only be paired with one device at a time.
- Force close the Wyze app.
- Toggle BluetoothⓇ off on your mobile device, then turn it back on.
- Power cycle your mobile device.
- Power cycle Wyze Scale Ultra.
- Remove the batteries from the scale for 10 seconds, then reinstall them.
- Verify the scale is syncing with the Wyze app.
- Open the Wyze app and select Wyze Scale Ultra.
- Step on the scale to activate it.
- Ensure Connected displays in the app and the BluetoothⓇ symbol appears in the upper-left corner of the scale’s screen.
- Check for unclaimed data.
- In the Wyze app, select Wyze Scale Ultra.
- If there is unclaimed data, there will be a “You have unclaimed data.” message at the top of the screen.
- If so, tap the message to assign the unclaimed data to the correct users and tap Claim once done.
- Factory reset Wyze Scale Ultra.
- On the back of the scale, in the battery compartment, locate the UNIT button.
- Press and hold the button for 3 seconds until the scale display shows “Clear”.
- Set up the scale as new.
