How does a favorited Device Group work?
Device groups are handy for keeping similar Wyze products, like Wyze Bulbs and Light Strips, all in one place. You can control them all with a tap, or manage them individually from one page.
How do I manage a favorited device group?
- Tap the middle of the device card to turn all devices in the group on or off.
- Tap on the arrow > to control devices individually.
- Tap on the arrow > then the Settings gear to edit the device group and individual devices.
What does an On, Off, and Offline Device Group mean?
- On: One or all of the devices in a device group is on.
- If you turn on any of the devices in the group from anywhere in the app, the card will turn green and display "On."
- Off: All of the devices in a device group are off.
- If all of the devices are off, the card will display "Off."
- Offline: All of the devices in a device group are offline, and not connected to the Wyze app.
- If only one of the devices is powered on and connected, it will show On.
How do I add a Device Group to Favorites?
- If you don't already have a device group, create one with just a few taps!
- To create a Device Group, tap the plus sign +. On the Add menu, tap Device Group and select the type of device group you want to create. We suggest a Lighting Group!
- Note: You can only group similar devices, like plugs with other plugs.
- Tap the check boxes next to each device you want in the group, then tap Done.

- With a device group, tap on the Devices tab, then tap the star icon to add it to Favorites.
- You'll find your device group as a card on the Favorites tab.
How do I remove a Device Group from Favorites?
Tap on the Devices tab, then scroll down to your device group. Tap the star icon to remove it.
