Can I be notified if my Wyze Cam goes offline?

Yes, in your Push Notifications settings.

Internet down? Power outage? Device Connectivity Notifications will send a push notification to let you know when your Wyze Cams go offline and when they come back online.

To turn on Device Connectivity Notifications:

  1. In the Wyze app, tap Account > Notifications > Push Notifications. Tap the toggle next to Enable to turn it on.
  2. Under My Devices, select which devices to receive push notifications for.
  3. Tap the toggle next to Device Connectivity Notifications (Pilot)* to turn it on.

How do Device Connectivity Notifications work?

When your Wyze Cam goes offline, it automatically tries to reconnect for up to 30 minutes. If it's still offline after that, you'll get a push notification. The 30-minute window helps avoid false alerts from brief power blips or Wi-Fi interruptions. You'll also get a notification when your camera is back online.

Additional Notes:

  • You will receive offline and online notifications for each Wyze Cam, doorbell, and floodlight you have selected under My Devices. You cannot customize which devices send offline and online notifications.
  • *Requires Wyze app v3.6 or higher.
