Incorrect Time displayed

If your videos and events display the wrong time, there are a few troubleshooting steps that can be taken to resolve this. 

Sync Time in Wyze App

The first step you can take is trying to re-sync the Wyze app with your local time. 

  • Using the Wyze app, navigate to the Home tab and select any Wyze Cam or device. 
  • Click the Settings icon SettingsGear__1_.pngon the top right.
  • Tap the Advanced Settings
  • Press the Sync Time tab to cause your Wyze Cam to adjust its timestamp to the time on your phone or tablet.
Note: This will only work for the Wyze Cam and Wyze Cam Pan. you will not find the Sync Time option for Wyze Bulb or Wyze Sense. Notification times will not function properly in time zones that use uneven UTC offsets that differ by 30 to 45 minutes from the usual one-hour time zone interval.

 

Update Mobile Device's Date and Time

Check to see if your mobile device is set to automatically update your Date and Time. Follow the steps below for iOS and Android.

Update Date & Time on Your iOS Device

  1. From your home screen, navigate to Settings.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Tap Date & Time.
  4. Make sure that the option Set Automatically is turned on.

  1. Tap Settings to open the Settings menu.
  2. Tap Date & Time.
  3. Tap Automatic.
