Wyze Palm Lock Palm Setup

Once you've set up your Wyze Palm Lock, you can set up a palm for access! Scanning your palm with Wyze Palm Lock is the primary entry method to unlock your door.

Tip: An alternative to start this setup is to continue after setting up your Wyze Palm Lock.

To set up an palm for Wyze Palm Lock:

  1. In the Wyze app, tap on your Wyze Palm Lock.
  2. Go to Settings > Access and Sharing.
  3. Tap on the user you want to add an access code for, then Add Left Palm or Add Right Palm.
  4. Hold your palm in an open position 3-7 inches from the lock screen while the lock scans your palm.
    • This may take up to 30 seconds.
  5. Repeat for the other palm if needed.

Follow these same steps if you want to reset an access code for a user.

To delete a Wyze Palm Lock palm:

  1. In the Wyze app, tap on your Wyze Lock Bolt.
  2. Go to Settings > Access and Sharing.
  3. Tap on the user you want to delete the palm for.
  4. Tap the trash can icon.

To replace a palm scan, follow these steps to delete a palm, then set up a palm.

Additional Notes

  • When scanning, ensure the palm is centered near the white palm icon on the display.
  • While scanning, there will be voice prompts and the palm icon will light up.
  • Palm scans are encrypted and stored locally on your Wyze Palm Lock and cannot be accessed by Wyze.
  • Wyze does not have access to your access code, Access History, or palm vein recognition data.
  • Up to 50 registered palm scans can be added per device.
