Turn on Extreme Battery Saving Mode to greatly improve the battery life of your Wyze Palm Lock.
Your Wyze Palm Lock can wake up when you approach it and scan your hand, for contactless access. However, if there is frequent motion in front of your lock, it's behind a storm door, your palm lock can wake up excessively. This will drain the battery rapidly.
To enable Extreme Battery Saving Mode:
- In the Wyze app, tap your Wyze Palm Lock.
- Tap Settings, then Battery Management.
- Select Extreme Battery Saving Mode.
Extreme Battery Saving Mode simply requires you to tap on your Wyze Palm Lock to wake it up manually before scanning your palm. This will prevent unwanted wake ups, and preserve battery life.
