Problem
You are having trouble measuring your heart rate, or the heart rate is not showing in the app
Troubleshooting
- Confirm that your Wyze app is up to date.
- In your Wyze app, navigate to the Account tab > tap About.
- Your current app version will be listed beneath the Wyze logo.
- Compare your app version to the latest app version listed on our Release Notes & Firmware page.
- If you find that your Wyze app is out of date, head over to your mobile device’s app store and update the Wyze app.
- If possible, check that your Wyze Scale Ultra BodyScan’s firmware is up to date.
- You can check this by going to the Account tab > Firmware Update.
- If there is an update available for the scale, please move forward with updating it.
- Force close the Wyze app, then re-open it.
- Verify that the Wyze app has permission to access the mobile device’s camera.
- This can be checked in the phone’s settings.
- Ensure that measuring is done correctly.
- The finger must be placed on the mobile device’s main camera lens (not the flash).
- There should not be anything obstructing the finger.
- Excessively dry or damp fingers may result in incorrect or no measurements.
- Remove any case covering the camera, if needed.
- Remain still and breathe normally.
- The finger must remain on the camera until the measurement is complete.
