Problem
The NBD (NoBigDeal) filter is enabled, but you're still receiving repetitive notifications or the user is unable to turn on the filter.
Impacted Services:
- Cam Unlimited Pro
Note:
- While purchasing Cam Unlimited Pro, you'll be prompted in the Wyze app to give consent to the Descriptive Alert (and NBD Filter) feature on my.wyze.com. If you do not give consent, you'll be prompted in the Wyze app to give consent. You must give consent in order to use the NBD (NoBigDeal) Filter.
Troubleshooting
- Confirm that the Wyze app is up to date.
- In your Wyze app, navigate to the Account tab > tap About.
- Your current app version will be listed beneath the Wyze logo.
- Compare your app version to the latest app version listed on our Release Notes & Firmware page.
- If you find that your Wyze app is out of date, head over to your mobile device’s app store and update the Wyze app.
- Check that the camera’s firmware is up to date.
- You can check this by going to the Account tab > Firmware Update.
- If there is an update available for the doorbell, please move forward with updating it.
- Verify that the camera has a Cam Unlimited Pro license assigned to it.
- In the Wyze app, navigate to the Account tab > Services.
- Note: The NBD filter is compatible with Cam Unlimited Pro only.
- Check that the NBD Filter is enabled.
- In the Wyze app, navigate to the Account tab > Wyze Intelligence > Descriptive Alert > tap NBD (NoBigDeal) Filter to enable this.
- Note: If the NBD Filter does not display in your Account settings in the Wyze app, then you’ll need to give consent either while purchasing Cam Unlimited Pro or in the Wyze app.
- If possible, restart the camera.
- In the Wyze app, navigate to the camera’s settings > Restart Camera > Restart.
