You’re getting too many notifications from your camera.

Troubleshooting
- Confirm that the Wyze app is up to date.
- In your Wyze app, navigate to the Account tab > tap About.
- Your current app version will be listed beneath the Wyze logo.
- Compare your app version to the latest app version listed on our Release Notes & Firmware page.
- If you find that your Wyze app is out of date, head over to your mobile device’s app store and update the Wyze app.
- Check that the camera’s firmware is up to date.
- You can check this by going to the Account tab > Firmware Update.
- If there is an update available for the doorbell, please move forward with updating it.
- Adjust the camera is set to record correctly.
- Navigate to the camera’s settings > Event Recording.
- Adjust the types of recordings you wish to receive.
- Adjust the Detection Settings.
- Navigate to the camera’s settings > Detection Settings.
- Navigate to the camera’s settings > Detection Setting.
- Under Motion Detection Sensitivity, adjust the slider bar.
- Under Sound Detection Sensitivity, adjust the slider bar.
- Tap Detection Zone and set a custom zone to only cover the area(s) you want.
- Ensure your notifications are set correctly.
- Navigate to the camera’s settings > Notifications.
- Adjust the types of notifications you wish to receive.
- We recommend enabling AI detection to help with the amount of notifications.
- Navigate to the Home tab of the Wyze app and tap Account.
- Tap Notifications and adjust the types of notifications you wish to receive.
- For Cam Unlimited Pro users, follow the steps below:
- Advise the user to turn the NBD (NoBigDeal) Filter on to help cut down on unwanted notifications.
- Note: If Descriptive Alert is enabled for Wyze Cam v3 or Wyze Video Doorbell Pro, you will need to disable AI notification settings in the camera’s settings > Event Recording to prevent duplicate notifications.
