Problem
You have cloud recording set to 60 days, but you are only receiving 14 days of cloud storage.
Impacted Services:
- Cam Unlimited Pro
Notes:
- By default, all cameras will be set to 14 days of storage.
- At this time, there is no ability to select multiple or all cameras at once while adjusting the storage length.
- 60 days of recordings can be viewed through the Events tab of the Wyze app and Wyze Web View.
Troubleshooting
- Confirm that the Wyze app is up to date.
- In your Wyze app, navigate to the Account tab > tap About.
- Your current app version will be listed beneath the Wyze logo.
- Compare your app version to the latest app version listed on our Release Notes & Firmware page.
- If you find that your Wyze app is out of date, head over to your mobile device’s app store and update the Wyze app.
- Check that the camera’s firmware is up to date.
- You can check this by going to the Account tab > Firmware Update.
- If there is an update available for the doorbell, please move forward with updating it.
- Verify that the camera has a Cam Unlimited Pro license assigned to it.
- In the Wyze app, navigate to the Account tab > Services.
- Note: The 60 day storage option is only available for Cam Plus Unlimited Pro users.
- Check that the 60-day cloud storage is enabled.
- In the Wyze app, navigate to the Account tab > Video Cloud Storage.
- Select the camera you’d like to adjust, then tap 60 days storage > Save.
- Repeat this for any applicable cameras.
- Note: If the cameras’ cloud recording is set to 60 days and are switched back to 14 days, any recordings older than 14 days will no longer be accessible. This setting can only be adjusted once per day.
- If possible, restart the camera.
- In the Wyze app, navigate to the camera’s settings > Restart Camera > Restart.
