How do I use Night Vision in the Wyze app?

Learn about how to use the Night Vision feature on your Wyze Cam.

What is Night Vision?

Night Vision is a setting on your Wyze Cam that lets you view the Live stream clearly in low light conditions. This comes in handy when checking your cameras at night. Color Night Vision not only lets you view clearly at night, but in color. 

🌙  For most Wyze Cams, tap the moon icon near the Live stream to control Night Vision.

To turn on Night Vision in the Wyze app:

Wyze Cam v1/v2/v3, Pan v1, Wyze Cam Outdoor v1/v2, Floodlight v1

For Wyze Cam v1/v2/v3, Pan v1, Wyze Cam Outdoor v1/v2, Floodlight v1: 

  1. In the Wyze app, tap to open your Wyze Cam.
  2. Tap on the moon icon above the Live stream to cycle through Night Vision.

For Wyze Cam OG, Wyze Cam v3 Pro, Wyze Cam v4, Wyze Cam Pan v2/v3, Battery Cam Pro, Video Doorbell v2, Floodlight v2 and Pro: 

  1. In the Wyze app, tap to open your Wyze Cam.
  2. Tap Settings Advanced Settings.
  3. Under Night Vision Mode, tap Auto, On, or Off.

Wyze Video Doorbell Pro 

For Wyze Video Doorbell Pro: 

  1. In the Wyze app, tap to open your Wyze Video Doorbell.
  2. Tap on the three dots ... to open the More menu.
  3. Tap on the moon icon below the Live stream.
  4. Tap Auto, On or Off to cycle through Night Vision.

  1. In the Wyze app, tap to open your Wyze Video Doorbell v1.
  2. Tap on the three dots ... to display more options.
  3. Tap on the moon icon below the Live stream.
  4. Tap Auto, On or Off.

Additional Notes:

  • Noticing a pink tint to your camera's live stream? The Night Vision filter may be stuck. Follow the steps above to cycle through Night Vision to move the filter.
