What do the warnings ⚠️ on my Automations tab mean?

When two or more of your Automations have issues, a warning icon ⚠️  will display on the affected automations on the list.

What is the Automations warning feature?

This feature lets you know if any of your automations are in conflict or have issues. If multiple automations run at the same time, they may cancel each other out and fail to run properly. If you have an automation set for a device that's offline, it won't run at all. We'll show a ⚠️ icon on any automation that has issues.

Example 1:

You have a schedule for all of your Wyze bulbs to turn off at 10 PM every weekday, but one of those bulbs has a separate schedule to turn on at 10 PM on Tuesday and Thursday.

Example 2:

You have a shortcut for Wyze Lamp Socket v2 to turn on the light with a tap, but you've replaced that device with a Wyze Bulb Cam. That shortcut is unable to trigger as the lamp socket is offline.

How do I check for issues with my Automations?

  1. In the Wyze app, go to the Automations tab.
  2. Tap on the house icon to open your Automations History.
  3. Tap Run a Quick Check.
    1. All Clear! : No issues or conflicts were found with your automations. Tap OK to close.
    2. Issues Found! : Some of your automations conflict with each other. Go to the Automations tab to review and fix them.

How do I fix issues with my Automations?

  1. Tap on an automation with a warning ⚠️ to review it.
  2. Review the Edit Automation page for details* about the warnings.

This page will display details like device offline, conflicting times, missing subscriptions, and errors with the device. For most issues, you can fix them directly from this Edit Automation page.

Can I disable the Automations warning feature?

No, this feature cannot be disabled. If your automations display a warning, we recommend reviewing and fixing any conflicts so that your automations run properly.

One of my automations didn't trigger, but the app says All Clear!

There may have been a temporary outage or error when that automation was supposed to run. If there are no warnings in the Wyze app, the automation should run properly next time. If it doesn't, delete the automation and set it up again.
