Check if the IR lights are turned off.
If Night Vision is enabled, and the image looks black and white while the room's lights are turned on (or while the sun is up), but looks completely black in the dark, this could be a sign that the IR lights are simply turned off.
- Open the Live Stream for your Wyze Cam Outdoor.
- Tap the Settings icon , then Advanced Settings.
- Tap the toggle next to Night Vision IR Lights so that it's on.
- Return to the Live Stream. If Night Vision still does not work as expected, continue below.
Reposition the camera as needed.
- Move the camera so that the lens is not facing streetlights, glares, or under direct light.
- Return to the Live Stream and cycle the Night Vision Mode again.
