Problem
You are unable to enable Travel Mode on your Wyze Cam Outdoor.
Troubleshooting
- Confirm your Wyze app is up to date.
- Confirm that both your Wyze Cam Outdoor and Wyze Base Station firmware are up to date.
- Attempt to enable Travel Mode again.
- Please ensure you are using your camera to enable Travel Mode and not the base station.
- Once this is enabled “Travel mode enabled” will sound.
- For Wyze Cam Outdoor, if the status light is:
- Flashing yellow but is still unable to connect
- Turn off cellular data on the mobile device.
- Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled.
- Flashing yellow but the Travel Mode password is incorrect
- Exit Travel Mode by pressing the Setup button once.
- Change/reset the password in the camera’s settings.
- Not flashing yellow
- Make sure the camera is fully charged.
- Flashing yellow but is still unable to connect
- For the Wyze Base Station, if the status light is

- Turn off cellular data on the mobile device.
- Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled.
- Flashing yellow but is still unable to connect
