A sensor or keypad is not pairing with my Sense Hub.

You're unable to connect a sensor or keypad to your Wyze Sense Hub, which is already connected. The pairing step fails.

If your hub is connected but the sensor or keypad is not connecting, it could be due to a weak signal or an issue with entering pairing mode.

  1. Confirm that your Wyze Sense Hub is online.
    • In the Wyze app, check that your Wyze Sense Hub is online and does not have an offline icon next to it. If you see the offline icon offline.png next to it, then check out: My Wyze Sense Hub is showing offline to get it online.
  2. Move your sensor closer to the Hub.
    • If you can, relocate your sensor or keypad so that it's closer to the hub. Or, move your hub to a more central location so that it's closer to the sensor or keypad.
  3. Make sure your sensor or keypad is in pairing mode.
    1. To pair your devices to Wyze Sense Hub, press and hold the reset button on each device for ~3 seconds. to enter pairing mode.
      1. For entry and motion sensors, the red LED light will flash 3 times when it's in pairing mode.
      2. For Wyze Sense Keypad, the Home mode button will flash.
      3. If no lights flash, you might:
        • Not be pressing the button long enough.
        • Need to replace the battery.
        • Have left the plastic battery tab in place.

If you continue to have issues pairing your sensors or keypad to your Wyze Sense Hub, reach out to our support team about a warranty replacement.
