Problem
You’re unable to set an alarm with your Wyze Home Monitoring service.
Troubleshooting
- Confirm that the Wyze app is up to date.
- In your Wyze app, navigate to the Account tab > tap About.
- Your current app version will be listed beneath the Wyze logo.
- Compare your app version to the latest app version listed on our Release Notes & Firmware page.
- If you find that your Wyze app is out of date, head over to your mobile device’s app store and update the Wyze app.
- Check that Wyze Sense Hub firmware is up to date.
- You can check this by going to the Account tab > Firmware Update.
- If there is an update available for the doorbell, please move forward with updating it.
- Ensure your Wyze Home Monitoring Service is active.
- You can check this by going to the Account tab > Services.
- Confirm that Wyze Sense Hub is online.
- If the hub is offline, try following the steps listed in My Wyze Sense Hub is showing offline.
- If you've already tried arming the system from the app, try to arm it using your Wyze Sense Keypad instead.
- Adjust your Home & Away settings.
- Navigate to your Wyze Home Monitoring settings.
- Tap Home & Away > Edit Sensor List.
- Remove the impacted sensors and then add them back.
- Reset the sensor by pressing the reset button for at least 3 seconds, then release the button. Walk through setting up the sensor like new.
- The red LED light should flash 3 times while in pairing mode.
- Make sure that you are close to Wyze Sense Hub while trying to set up your Wyze Sense v2 sensors.
- Confirm that Wyze Sense Hub is saying “ready to connect” as part of the pairing process.
- Reset the service.
- In the Wyze app, navigate to the Monitoring tab > Home Monitoring Settings > Subscription > Reset Service > set up the service as new.
